Default BW Dinobot vs Silverbolt?

They are both heroic and both rebels in their own way. Dinobot is more violent and Silverbolt is more romantic. I often thought that they were the same person except Silverbolt was the alter ego of Dinobot? Any thoughts?

Silverbot was kind of like, the really 'good' guy... Dinobot sort of played the 'badass with a heart of a gold' that redeemed himself at the end. ....It's sooo hard to choose.... hmmmm.

I adore the both of them, but for different reasons. However, my fangirlish heart being what it is, I find myself gravitating towards the navel-contemplating 'raptorbot with a penchant for Shakespeare. He just really grabbed me as a character, and he seemed much more three-dimensional than Silverbolt did.

My favourite Silverbolt moment is when Black Arachnia shoots him in the leg and he goes, "........you SHOT me..." and was so incredibly wounded.

But yeah, in the end I think I agree that Dinobot was just a more engaging character.

Of course, why take one when you can have both?

As someone who has PLAYED SILVERBOLT *trumpet fanfare*

The guy got pasted by Waspinator several times... He's kinda a Leeroy Jenkins.

Silverbolt in beast wars is a glutton for punishment and frankly, gullible. I love him in the same way I love old 90's cartoons. Cheesy, overdone and yet so so lovable. As a kid I hated Dinobot, thinking him a big meanie who talked too much but now he is by far my favorite. Especially after I revisited the series.

Simply put, dinosaur robots because dinosaur robots. G1 big dinosaurs included.
