Today's comic was made by Solara of the forums! Heartbow strikes again >_< Hilarious though.. lol I can't say I'm not warming up slightly to our hideous website creation.
Today marks the last of the guest comics sadly, they're so much fun and I love seeing them. As I said before there are more, but they will be included in the CiD booklet which is coming soon.
On another note I will be gone this weekend so I won't be able to post a comic on Monday, so I'll put something up tomorrow to cover for that. Thank you again submitters! It's been a blast and I can't wait until next year!

Today's comic was made by Elita Prime of the forums! I laugh at the tiny Prime statue coming back to find the gigantic Megatron in the Autobot base. (No wonder it's a nightmare!) Thanks again for your submission!
I love guest comic weeks, the stuff I get is so hilarious and great and it gives me a bit of time off too. I could probably be doing something productive with it (besides working on the booklet) such as: cleaning the condo, letting my arm heal, seeing my friends, sleeping, etc. Except I find myself watching cartoons, reading comics and drawing random stuff on and off. 'Tis a good vacation :) Thank you again for all your wonderful contributions! (And this is just some of the stuff I've got, the booklet will be full of more contributions)

Today's comic was made by Silverbolt of the forums! It's subtle and yet not subtle at the same time, which made me laugh harder for it I think.
I've been working on the CiD booklet some more this weekend while trying to debug the new website. The problem is I've been sort of flinging stuff on to the homepage and mixing up different styles. I think I know how I want the page to be set up though, but I'll go back to the normal format until I have something that's good and working. Sorry for everyone whose screens are a little jacked because of it.

Today's comic was made by Sunstorm of the forums! Because the weekends tend to be lower viewed (because everyone is out and about during the weekends, especially in the summer time) I'm going to leave Sunstorm's comic up for both Saturday and Sunday to even things out.
Poor Prime. I agree that his face must be disfigured somehow, in G1 cartoon continuity he was mangled pretty badly until Alpha Trion repaired him into the robot you see today. Thanks again Sunstorm!

So, I'm trying out some more background madness. I know the Prowl background from yesterday is kind of buggy, this one might be too though I have tested it more. (But I'm still kind of throwing it together just to see)
It's sort of a tough call, I know a lot of viewers still have the screen resolution of 780 wide and I don't want to punish you so hopefully the backgrounds haven't been too intrusive. I also work on a much wider monitor that's at about 1240ish so it's hard for me to tell.
Today's comic was made by Tracks of the forums! The comments made me laugh, I too enjoyed blowing up Sunstreaker though in my weaker moments I almost pitied him. Thanks again Nagi! It's great.

Happy 2nd Anniversary Comics in Disguise! I can't believe I've been doing this for 2 years. I thought perhaps I'd get tired of it after 6 months... I thought maybe I wouldn't be able to think of any more storylines after a year...
Well, it's 2 years and my interest and enthusiasm hasn't slowed down at all!
Of course it's mostly due to you guys, fellow Transformer fans, readers and forumers! You're the people this site is really about, I'm just some crazy fan who makes comics.
Thank you all for reading! Please continue!
On another note, our celebration starts off with a hilarious comic by our forum's Prowl. This was the first comic that was submitted to me, and man is it ever great. Thank you Prowl!

Today was probably THE hardest script I have ever written. There was so much I wanted to say, yet at the same time I wanted to keep it clear and simple. It's also probably one of the biggest gambles of CiD to date - Thundercracker finally makes a decision and steps out of his normal domain of neutral. (And actually smiles too - wow!) And talks to Arcee who he has a bit of history with.
If you're wondering why I choose Arcee, it's mainly to keep the comic cannon. (At least for now) There aren't very many femmes to choose from. And no, in the show they never even meet each other. In season 3 where Arcee enters the series post movie, TC is already 'dead' and transformed into Scourge. (I always thought it was strange that Galvatron retained Megatron's memories but TC and Skywarp and the Insecticons don't. Or at least they never mention it)
Guest comics start Thursday - CiD's 2 year anniversary!

I'm a bit sleepy at the moment, but the extra time I worked on this comic was worth it I believe. I'm calling this a double update, the top part of the comic wouldn't have stood up well solely on it's own I felt and needed a dramatic change over to the next scene.
Also I wanted to show people how the fembots were doing back in the Ark, because suddenly surrounded by all those malebots should cause as much trouble as suddenly having femmes aboard! ...it's sort of based on a true story (well several actually), based on myself as Ratchet... ha ha.

Thank you again to Silverbolt, who's fantastic inking and colouring job is allowing not only my wrist to return to normal, but to give me some time to work on the CiD booklet. I'm almost done typing the whole thing out, then I'll have the fun part of putting it together with all of the great art and comics I've received. I really will have fun with it, I wasn't being sarcastic. I can't wait to start posting the comics too, they're all great. Thank you everyone that has participated!
If you still wish to get a comic on the site for the anniversary week, I'll keep taking them until Friday.
Today's comic is the problem with Combiner teams... 6 different minds always trying to tug in different directions. It's always been Devastator's weakness.
July 10th, 2008
I'm slowly getting back into the 'saddle' so they say... I inked some of the panels in today's comic and coloured some more. My wrist is probably almost back to it's former glory. (Which isn't fantastic to start, but at least I can get back to inking/colouring soon enough. That being said, Solara, Silverbolt and Zatnik helping me out with these comics has been such a big help. Even if I was doing this all by myself there's no way I'd have the time to ink and colour all of these panels. And it makes me happy because the Combiners deserve big scenes and I'm finally getting to some decent action sequences. Hopefully after this the normal Autobots/Decepticons will seem like cake. *skeptical*

Once again, thanks to Solara and Zatnik who co-inked and co-coloured today's comic! (I only coloured a few at the end) As a personal update, my wrist is starting to feel back to its old self again which isn't perfect, but good enough to draw. The combiners are killing me, but it makes the panels so worth it if I try to do them justice.
For everyone contributing to the CiD booklet - I'm accepting submissions until July 15th (then I have to put everything together).
However - if you still want to submit a guest comic, I'll accept those until July 24th. Keep 'em coming! You can submit more than once if you'd like. Fanart, fanfiction, fancomics (for fancomics I'd like them to be CiD related please, for the bday)

Yes I know we need a new news section, but it's pretty late and I'm pretty
lazy tired right now. Thanks again to Solara and Silverbolt for inking today's comic, they were up a lot later than I was working on it >_<. But it looks great!
I have to admit I was punishing them a little with the first panel and all the shots of the Combiners but I'm happy I'm getting to do the shots/comics I want to with these guys. They're a royal pain to draw/ink/colour but hopefully the end result is worth it.
Today, Devastator 1, Bruticus 0.
